: The Computer Science department of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center is offering a PhD student position for the grid computing group to develop the following functions:
Study of Programming Models for heterogeneous platforms, more specificall study of the possible integration of OmpSs with OpenCL
Implementation of a prototype integrating OmpSs with OpenCL
Porting of applications to the OmpS/OpenCL programming model
Evaluation of the prototyp
Requirements:
BS or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications engineering
We are looking for people having:
Previous experience in parallel applications
Previous research experience in parallel programming models
Previous experience in European projects
High level of written/spoken English
