: The Computer Application in Science & Engineering department of Barcelona Supercomputing Center is looking a Junior Postdoc position. The candidate will join to a multidisciplinary team in order to develop parallel multiphysics simulation which includes CFD, chemical reactions, electromagnetism and optimization algorithmic.
Key Duties
Compile and analyze bibliography about the phenomenon to simulate
Establish the validity and stability ranges of the use simulations for the simulation.
Develop, refine and document the parallel software which implements the agreed model.
Requirements
Education
Postdoc in Engineering or Physics
Knowledge
Fluent in English
Parallel programming knowledge
Professional Experience
Experience in numerical models for EDPs and no lineal optimization.
Conditions
The position will be located at BSC within the CASE department in collaboration with the specific program coordinator. The contract will be for 20 months approximately.
