: Purpose of the Job
- The Condition Monitoring System and other predictive tools monitors the operation of the
components in the different systems and subsystem of the WTG’s. The data generated by the
systems are recorded and analyzed by Alstom Regional Diagnostic specialist as Predictive
Maintenance task.
- Support in the development of feasible techniques dedicated to the condition monitoring of wind
turbine drive train sub-systems. Analyze the impacts of drive train subsystems faults and predict their
symptoms. Support to create the adequate predictive patterns and configure these in the system.
- They are responsible for assessing the components status and starting the required maintenance
actions, always with the objective of ensuring the maximum yield for the Customers.
- To propose measures to improve reliability & availability of the wind turbines and minimize the
failures
- To reducing the OPEX, increase availability and knowledge of WTG
Responsibilities.
Duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitoring and diagnosing the health condition of Wind Turbine. Gearboxes, Main Bearing,
Generators, power module, … basically all the WTG systems/subsystems. The drive train is
included.
- Creation of the predictive maintenance patterns for the CMS systems.
- Customer reporting. This report provides the Customer with a condition assessment of the
monitored components, and collects in case they have appeared, all warnings and alarms
registered by the system for the wind turbine.
- Technical reporting of potential reliability conditions
- To send the adequate maintenance actions towards the performance department. Follow the
action with the field.
- Maintaining and up-dating vibration database. According with Diagnostic&Surveillance dept.
