We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a Senior QE Software Engineer. As part of our quality engineering technology team, you will work as a software developer and with quality teams to produce world class products with world-class quality. In this position, you will ensure that Vistaprint products and services are the envy of the industry.
Your role will involve
Developing automated test infrastructure to support leading-edge development and deployment such as continuous integration, continuous build and behavior-driven acceptance testing.
Developing automated test suites in close partnership with software engineers and quality engineers that can readily adapt to a fast-changing business environment.
Meeting with business analysts to design quality into new software from the start
Coordinating quality best practices across multiple teams
Helping other developers adopt new techniques to improve product quality early, and help quality engineers use knowledge of technology to improve verification and validation practices.
In return you will bring
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or around 5 years track record in a development or test role delivering software or solutions
Proficiency developing in at least one modern programming language in a windows environment (C#/Java/C++/Ruby) and experience utilizing virtual machines; practical knowledge and experience with SQL is a plus
Strong analytical abilities and proven design skills as well as practical knowledge and experience in distributed architectures, web service APIs (e.g., HTTP stack, REST, SOAP)
Proven ability to coordinate software & quality engineering pro
