Research Project Manager

: We are looking for an experienced candidate to manage and coordinate the full lifecycle of research projects within the BSC's Project Management Office (PMO), from the detection of funding opportunities to the execution and closing of projects.
Priority wil be given to those candidatures as an internal in-company job promotion.
Requirements :
a) Academic:
University degree, preferably in IT, telecommunications or electronics
Specific relevant courses a plus
b) Knowledge:
Good level of spoken and written English
Good knowledge of National and especially European R&D funding programmes
c) Experience and skills:
Experience in management of research projects funded by the Framework Programme of the European Commission particularly in the role of coordinator. Experience overseeing the drafting of research contracts with private industry.

Used to working under pressure with strict deadlines
Good report writing skills essential (in English)
Good skills in word processing, spreadsheets and presentation applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint or equivalents)

e) Responsabilities. The successful candidate will:
Identify and communicate R&D funding opportunities to the relevant researches
Proposal Management . Ensure that administrative requirements of proposals are met (eligibility etc.). Take the lead on the definition and redaction of the management section of project proposals where necessary and coordinate contributions from other partners regarding use of resources, budget, project governance etc. Contribute to other sections of the proposal where needed, including the impact section.
Contract Management . Take the lead in negotiating, supervise the drafting and signing process of contracts with the least possible delay while ensuring that the interests o
