The interiors of the car including the center console, door linings and doors are nowadays required to fulfill extremely high demands concerning design, function, security and haptics. For you as an interior engineer this leads to an increased need for creativity and anticipatory thinking. In a constant dialogue between engineering and production the different modules are developed and designed to fit the respective car type perfectly. While regularly coordinating with the customer you will be responsible for the development of interior concepts and individual parts such as the center console, linings, control elements, acoustic insulation, seating compositions and trunk layouts.
