: ODIGEO , one of the leading on-line travel groups? worldwide resulting from the merge of leading travel companies eDreams, GoVoyages, Opodo, Travellink and Liligo is looking for UX Designer to join our Retail Team based in Barcelona, Spain reporting to the Head of UX.
We are looking for designers specialized in eCommerce, who have strong visual (and markup) skills and/or analytical skills (we call them ?concept-oriented UX designers?).
You may be a rare bird, strong at both visual and conceptual UX design ? but if not, don?t worry: you?ll be working closely with other designers, researchers and developers who will complement your area of expertise.
The UX Designer will be responsible for:
Collaborate with product management and development to define and implement innovative solutions.
Present work done to team members and stakeholders, providing solid rational arguments based on theory, best practices, data and proven experience.
Use data and user knowledge to inform designs
Work closely with other designers, product owners, developers and stakeholders
Advocate for best of breed experience design and design thinking
Use data, best practices, and proven experience to inform designs
Conduct benchmarks
Move seamlessly from conversion optimization to feature-enhancement to innovation.
Maintaining and evolving a set of design patterns
Specific requirements for visual-oriented UX designers
Taking a design from sketch or wireframe to final artwork + markup
Enhance interaction decisions with a polished, pixel-perfect design
Generate markup using HTML5 / CSS3 / JQuery / Jquery Mobile
Specific requirements for concept-oriented UX designers
Good skills deciphering business and user needs, and translating it to products and services optimized for conversion.
Create sketches, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
