Lead UX Visual Designer

: ODIGEO , one of the leading on-line travel groups? worldwide resulting from the merge of leading travel companies eDreams, GoVoyages, Opodo, Travellink and Liligo is looking for Lead UX Visual Designer to join our Retail Team based in Barcelona, Spain reporting to the Head of UX.
The Lead UX Visual Designer will be responsible for:
Mentor and inspire a team of UI and IxD designers in all matters related to UI and Visual Design
Quality of the visual design, respecting brand guidelines, and challenging those guidelines with solid data when required.
Work in both optimization and innovation projects, from concept to delivery, together with other designers, developers and product owners
Collaborate closely with Lead Interaction Designer in projects and in guideline creation
Manage team of designers
Proactively suggest process improvement, efficiency
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Desired Skills & Experience:
6+ years of UX visual design experience
4+ years of eCommerce digital design experience
2+ years of team leadership experience
Excellent working and theoretical knowledge of interaction and design principles
Demonstrable design skills with a strong portfolio
eCommerce experience
Proven working experience in digital - websites, web apps, native apps for desktop, smartphone and tablets
Ability to present your designs and present/defend your solutions to various stakeholders.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies
