Requisitos: Applicants must have a degree in computational sciences, physics, mathematics or an equivalent engineering degree. Ideal candidates will have several of the following attributes: - Good programming skills in at least on of the following languages: C, C++, FORTRAN. - Practical knowledge of bash scripting and Phyton. - Fluent English, written and spoken. - Ability to work as part of a group and to collaborate with colleagues with a wide range of expertise level. Desired: - Knowledge about climate models, data formats (netCDF, GRIB), and data conversion and manipulation tools (NCO, CDO, GRIP_API, etc.). - Basic knowledge about High Performance Computing (HPC) and parallel programming languages. Conditions and application procedures: The position is classified as full-time and is expected to work 40 hours per week and is initially opened for 12 months with a possibility for extension subject to the availability of funds and depending upon performance.
