Accounting Intern

: At cimpress, we?re looking for a student to join us as an Accounting Intern in Barcelona. Here you?ll receive structured on-the-job training, while putting all those theories you´ve been studying into action.
You will report to the Finance Manager and will collaborate in providing administrative and clerical services. You will actively support the day to day processing of accounts payables transactions and will participate in project work as assigned to ensure that Cimpress finances are maintain in an effective up to date and accurate manner.
You role will involve
- Administering receipt of invoices by email or post (opening, printing, sorting and distributing them to the internal customers)
- Supporting A/P-Accountants in processing invoices (check, enter in integrated ERP system) verifying that transactions comply with internal financial policies and procedures
- Liaising with suppliers and internal customers to ensure issues with invoices/vendor questions are dealt in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintaining a filing system for all financial documents
- Ensuring internal policies and processes are upheld and identifying any opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating in all other related duties and assigned projects as required

- Currently studying towards a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related degree (we cannot consider candidates who have graduated), your school must be able to provide and sign a university agreement with Cimpress
- Basic/intermediate knowledge of accounting
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files
- Attention to detail, Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills
- Intermediate level of English
