: Context and Mission:
We are looking for a highly motivated, independent postdoctoral researcher to work in an FP7 project on low-power.
Key Duties
The successful candidate will develop an architecture simulator for low-power and reliability. Key duties include synchronizing the work with other project partners, attending project meetings, and satisfying project objectives. In the second phase of the work, the phase will be applied to various research questions.
Requirements
Education
A PhD in Computer Architecture or Computer Science/Engineering.
Knowledge
Expertise in Computer Architecture is preferred.
Professional Experience
International experience is a big plug. Preference will be given to candidates with stays at top research institutions.
Competences
Expertise in microarchitecture, reliability, architecture simulator development, ability to undertake multinational research collaborations, ability to write top-quality research submissions.
Conditions
The position will be located at BSC within the Computer Architecture for Parallel Paradigms department in collaboration with the specific program coordinator. The contract will be for eight months.
