: Purpose of the Job
Business Partner of the Sales and Tendering Community during the Tender phase (date of bid / No Bid to official commercial hand over of the project to Project Execution team)
Communicate to all internal customers a true and fair view of financials in order to enable them to take the appropriate decisions
Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group accounting standards and Internal Control rules & principles
Responsible of commercial and pricing issues and project Cash Flow calculations.
Interface with several parties involved in Sales projects: Sales & Tendering, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Finance, Insurance and Risk.
Tender and Cost Sheet Preparation:
· Provide management team with sound & timely financial information as well as transparent risks & opportunities analysis
Ensure Offers compliance with internal ALSTOM rules, commercial directives and business management decisions
Guarantee financial transparency during tender and negotiation phase
Knowledge of all financial movements within the sales project, particularly cash and ensuring such information is consistent and reconciled on a regular basis.
Provide comparison / consistency check between tender bids in terms of direct cost and financial assumptions, ensuring consistency with other similar projects and overall completeness of the tender
· Monitoring development of related indices/cost drivers, comparing feedback and issue early warnings to the Business Management.
Providing support for risk assessment
Managing the tender costs incurred on the respective sales project.
Price calculation.
Determination of commercial costs in respect of the sales project including inflation, contingencies, interest and overheads, bonding, hedging, duties and taxes, insurance and political risk
Risk Review:
Prepare financial reports towards Business unit, Sector and Corporate
