Sr. Coordinator of Strategic Projects

: The BSC is looking for a Sr. Coordinator of Strategic Projects to work on the negotiation and execution of the RETHINK big project, funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development.
The objective of project is to bring together relevant actors to deliver a strategic roadmap for how technology advancements in hardware and networking can be exploited for the purpose of data analytics while also considering advancements in applications, algorithms and systems.
This position requires a mix of strong technical program management skills, an understanding of strategic positioning as well as excellent communication and writing skills in English.
Tasks:
Organize, coordinate and run all Working Group / Synthesis meetings consisting of top level PIs, Key decisions makers such as CEOs and the like
Synthesize the initial and final analyses of the individual Working Groups report on Critical Success Factors into a single document
Coordinate writing of and actively participate in writing of drafts for European Roadmap for new technologies, coordinate feedback and revision process
Collaborate directly with European Commission on both early and official roadmap releases
Facilitate technical discussions: identify issues, assign actions and drive to resolution at the Working Group level.
Experience/Qualifications:
5+ years of Technical Program Manager experience or equivalent
5+ years managing international team projects including 5+ companies or institutions
3+ years working on / with strategic projects related to the European Framework Programme (FP7)
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in technical program management and strategic coordination concepts (based on practical experience rather than certificates)
Capable of technical understanding of Hardware Architecture and Networking at a high level
Experience writing technical reports for review by
