: The Computational Bioinformatics Group at the Life Sciences Department of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center ( http://www.bsc.es ) is looking for two Junior Technicians in Bioinformatics.
Description:
The candidates will work within the BSC giving support to the european project TransPlant. The candidates should work in setting up structures of databases, test different methods for assembly, and mapping of data from next generation sequencing.
Requirements:
Qualification: BS Degree in Computer Science or Master in Bioinformatics
Programming skills is a must
Good English communication skills, both verbal and in writing
Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team
Desired experience in Genomics and Database management
