Junior Researcher Lightness

: Computer Science department offers a junior researcher position to work on the Lightness project, a European project funded by the 7 th Framework Programme of the European Union. The main goal of this project is the design, implementation and experimental evaluation of a high-performance network infrastructure for data centers, where innovative photonic switching and transmission solutions are deployed. Within this context the junior researcher will work on evaluating the performance and the network usage of BigData Application and will work on proposing new policies and mechanisms to get this kind of applications taking benefit from the research progresses achieve in the network infrastructure.
